木と人の共鳴を可視化するサウンドアーティスト。
私は、木と人のあいだに流れてきた
時間と関係性に関心を持っています。
人類は植物なしには
生存することも発展することもできませんでした。
木は空気をつくり、環境を整え、
素材となり、文化や生活を支えてきた存在です。
木は人の手によって板となり、床となり、船となり、
人の身体と関わりながら歴史を重ねてきました。
タップは、その木の床や船底から生まれた身体表現の一つです。
私は無垢材の板の上でタップを踏み、
木と人が積み重ねてきた時間の中にある共鳴を
サウンドアートとして可視化しています。
音は演奏ではなく、
木と人のあいだに現れる共鳴。
その音から、
ひとつの景色が立ち上がります。
おどるなつこは、無垢材の響きを楽器として用い、
身体と素材の対話からサウンドパフォーマンス作品を立ち上げています。
おどるなつこ Sound Artist / Tap Sound Artist / Choreographer
東京都出身。バレエ、マスクプレイアクション、大道芸などの身体表現を経てタップを主軸に活動を開始。2002年東京都ヘブンアーティスト認定、各地イベントや路上パフォーマンスに出演。美術家・音楽家とのコラボレーションも多数行い、2013年以降は映像と即興性を組み合わせた舞台作品を発表。フランス・マリオネットフェスティバル（2013・2015・2017）フリンジ参加など、劇場から路上まで横断的に活動している。
ドイツ国際平和村への訪問をきっかけに、2010年「あしおとでつながろう！プロジェクト」を設立。以来10年以上にわたり、障害のある100名との継続的なタップセッションを毎月実施。あしおとのリズムを通して互いを尊重し合うワークショップを各地で展開している。2021年NPO法人あしおとでつながろうプロジェクト設立、代表。

I am interested in the time and relationship
that have existed between wood and humans.
Humanity could not have survived or developed
without plants.
Wood creates the air we breathe, shapes our environment,
and supports human life and culture as a material.
Through human hands, wood has become boards, floors, and ships,
deeply connected to the human body across history.
Tap dance is one form of expression born from these wooden surfaces.
By tapping on solid wood,
I create sound art that visualizes the resonance
within this accumulated relationship between wood and human.
Sound is not a performance,
but resonance that appears between wood and human.
From that sound,
a landscape emerges.
She creates sound-based performance works using solid wood as a resonant material, exploring the relationship between body and material.
Odoru Natsuko is a tap sound artist and choreographer who translates the relationship between wood and the human body into sound through tap. Using solid wood surfaces as resonant instruments, she creates sound-based performance works through dialogue between body and material.
Born in Tokyo, she trained in ballet, mask play action, and street performance before focusing on tap as her primary medium. She was certified as a Tokyo Heaven Artist in 2002 and has performed widely in public spaces and events. She frequently collaborates with visual artists and musicians, and since 2013 has created stage works combining moving image and improvisation. Her performance settings range from theaters to streets, including fringe appearances at the France Marionette Festival (2013, 2015, 2017).
After visiting the German International Peace Village, she founded the “Ashioto de Tsunagarou! Project” in 2010. For over a decade, she has continued monthly tap sessions with more than 100 participants with disabilities, developing workshops that foster mutual respect through shared rhythm. In 2021 she established the nonprofit organization of the same name and serves as its director.
